Meet the Doula

Hi, I’m Amy. I am a mom of 2 beautiful little girls as well as a Certified Labor Doula from McCleary, Washington. I decided to become a doula and became certified through New Beginnings Doula Training to start Beautifully Made Doula Service and I am Certified through Stillbirthday University. After working in Labor and Delivery and realizing the incredible benefits of a woman having continuous support and the way that it changed the outcomes for so many mothers because of this I made the decision to change my career to support and empower women. I find so much joy in helping women to fulfill having their birth their way-whatever that means to them-and witnessing the empowerment that comes with it. I attend births at all homes, birth centers and hospitals in my service area-ranging from Hoquiam to Tacoma and everywhere in between including: Aberdeen, Montesano, Elma, Oakville, Rochester, Grand Mound, Chehalis, Centralia, McCleary, Olympia, JBLM and DuPont- as well as all types of births from vaginal home births to planned cesareans as well as medicated and unmedicated. My goal is to empower women to take back their birth and to have their babies on their terms. If you have any questions about me or what I do get in touch with me and I would be happy to answer them.

What are my qualifications?

Hi! My name is Rebecca Wingate and I am a 19 year old student, currently attending George Fox University in Oregon, but originally from relatively the same area as you. I have big dreams to do what you do and be a doula! Maternal care is my passion and what I’m really looking for and hoping for is some direction and guidance as I move towards pursuing my passion. I would love to get in touch with you and talk with you more about this amazing thing that you do!

    Thank you so much!
