Childbirth Preparation
I will discuss the natural physiologic process of childbirth and medical terminology as well as teaching you the coping and comfort techniques that I use when attending births as well as positions for comfort, to get baby in the optimal position and to keep labor progressing.
- Private classes are offered in the comfort of your home to you and your partner.
- Group classes are taught at a public location and are open to 5 couples but groups are kept small to allow all questions to be answered.
Breastfeeding Basics Class
We will talk about everything that you need to know to start a strong breastfeeding relationship with your baby.
Comfort Measures for Birth
This class teaches comfort measures and coping techniques to you and your labor partner as well as positioning and tools you may find useful during your labor.
Birth Plan Consultation
We will meet and go over the options that are available to you and I will assist you in writing a birth plan to give to your provider.
Belly Binding
Postpartum belly binding will help your body to heal faster and to help get everything back in place after the birth of your baby. I have a couple of packages available including being wrapped either 1 or 3 times and using my wraps or your.
Birth Photography
I will be on call for your birth from 38 to 42 weeks and come when you are ready for me and stay with you and continue photographing until your baby is born and newborn procedures are done. You will receive all of the edited images from your birth by email and I can also get you all of the unedited images that are taken while I am with you.
Placenta Services
I offer placenta encapsulation and tincture. I can do encapsulation in my home or I can bring all of my supplies for cleaning, processing and packaging your placenta to your home and complete the process there. For this services I am on call from 39-41 weeks and can pick up your placenta and drop your capsules off to you if you are within a 50 mile radius of McCleary, Washington.
Breast Pump Rental
I have an electric double breastpump that is available for rental. Included in this is the pump, tubing, two bottles, flanges and carrying bag-everything that you will need!
